We are Bernhard & Liza-Marie

Originally from South Africa, our journey with plant medicine began in 2007. In 2010, we followed a clear calling to Peru to deepen our work with Huachuma, and have been based in the Sacred Valley since.

Sanctuary is a natural evolution of our work—an offering shaped through years of experience, devotion, and a genuine love for this path.

Bernhard

Bernhard’s work is grounded, intuitive, and direct, with a refined ability to perceive patterns and guide others towards greater clarity.

He supports individuals in seeing beyond conditioned thought structures, reconnecting with their own truth, and stepping into a more aligned way of being. His approach is both gentle and precise, creating space for meaningful shifts without force.

Liza-Marie

Liza-Marie is a natural intuitive and highly sensitive person. In 2007, her spiritual journey led her to Peru where her heart called her to the beautiful plant medicine of the white Rose. Through various plant dietas, the medicine of the Rose assisted in opening her vision and intuitive channel to God.

However, it was through prayer and receiving alignments and activations from Divine guides, that she found the guidance and inspiration to truly be of service and share her gifts with the world. Her work allows her unique gifts to work as a beautiful blend of prayer, channeling messages and Divine energy transmissions.

Liza-Marie supports Bernhard in holding a grounded space for his ceremonial work and primarily assists with the logistics and arrangements around client stays at Sanctuary. As a support to the medicine work of clients, she offers intuitive check-ins around personal processes and readings (including Akashic records readings).
